International Congress of Odonatology 2017 accommodation

Logo ICO2017 copyThe International Congress of Odonatology 2017 (ICO2017) will be held in the Gillespie Centre at Clare College Cambridge from 16 to 20 July 2017.
Registration will be on Saturday 15 July.

Accommodation

To request a room, please fill out this form (no longer available)

A limited amount of accommodation is available in Clare College. We will seek additional sources

of accommodation.

We were required to take out accommodation at Clare College as a condition for using their

facilities, so will fill that first.

Further rooms will likely be available in Caius College.

There do not seem to be ‘student’ rooms available. All rooms offered come with an ‘en suite’.

Prices and facilities seem very similar so we will organise an equalisation scheme across room

types in halls.

If you still seek accommodation please email: accommodation@ico2017.org … it is very late, but

we will try.

–

Room types are:

Single en-suite bedroom (£ 95/night)

Double en-suite bedroom (£125/night)

Twin en-suite bedroom (£125/night)

We will attempt to coordinate persons wishing to use twin-share, but with no promise of success.

Rates include a full English and/or continental buffet breakfast, tea and coffee making facilities,

Spa toiletries, desk, wireless internet access

The congress logo is a stylised Anax imperator male to represent Philip Corbet’s pioneering work on seasonal regulation in this species. Philip’s Ph.D research was carried out in the Zoology Department at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Vincent Wigglesworth, the renowned insect physiologist. Philip was his only ever ecology student.
